Space Balls have been added 2015 in update 01.076 as a late April fool's joke.

Functionally, you may be looking for Artificial Mass block instead.

Usage

Space Balls have mass, which means they (and anything attached to them) are pulled by gravity.

On the Control Panel Screen, you can configure:

  • Virtual Mass
  • Broadcasting
It can optionally broadcast a signal in a range of 50 metres

Construction

In contrast to an Artificial Mass block, Space Balls are round and have the following properties:

  • Configurable mass
  • Friction
  • Restitution (bounciness)
  • Does not need power
  • Colorable

Space Balls exist for small and large grid and fit within a 1x1x1 volume of their respective grid size.
