The Colorable Solar Panel is a functional block that produces power. You can build it only if you have purchased the Decorative Pack 3 DLC.

The only difference to the vanilla Solar Panel is the shape and that the surface of the front and back of colorable solar panels is not blue but paintable.

Construction

If progression is enabled, you can always build solar panels, they do not need to be unlocked.

The Colorable Solar Panel exists for small grid and large grid. The small grid version needs 5x10x1 blocks room to place, but it uses only half the 1-block height. The large grid version needs 2x4x1 LG blocks room to place, but it uses only half the 1-block height.

It comes in a set of three shape variants together with Colorable Solar Panel Left, and Colorable Solar Panel Right. This rectangular double-sided solar panel has four sides with possible mount points.

This solar panel is paintable but it does not, however, accept different skins; also the structure betwen the two panel sides remains light gray.
