The Colorable Solar Panel is a functional block that produces power. You can build it only if you have purchased the Decorative Pack 3 DLC.

The differences to the vanilla Solar Panels is the shape, the mount points, and that the surface of the front and back of colorable solar panels is not blue but paintable.

Construction
If progression is enabled, you can always build solar panels, they do not need to be unlocked.
The Colorable Solar Panel exists for small grid and large grid. The small grid version needs 5x10x1 blocks room to place, but it uses only half the 1-block height. The large grid version needs 2x4x1 LG blocks room to place, but it uses only half the 1-block height.
The solar panel comes in a set of three shape variants, this rectangular one can be nicely combined with Colorable Solar Panel Left and Colorable Solar Panel Right to form e.g. hexagons.
The rectangular one has four narrow edges with possible mount points, and no mount points on the two surfaces, which is less than the vanilla Solar Panels.
This solar panel is paintable, it does not, however, accept different skins; also, the inner structure between the two panel sides remains light grey.
