The Power Efficiency Module is a functional block used in the early midgame of Space Engineers.
Usage
This module allows Assemblers and Refineries to operate at the same efficiency but with less power consumption. They are ideal in situations where power is limited and an upgrade to a Large Reactor is not in sight. However, if power is not your worry, prefer the other Upgrade Modules (Yield Module and Speed Module.
How much power does it save?
Number | Efficiency | Power Usage |
---|---|---|
1 Power Module | 150% | 374.49 kW |
2 Power Modules | 224% | 250.44 kW |
3 Power Modules | 334% | 167.48 kW |
4 Power Modules | 500% | 112.00 kW |

Both small yellow rectangles are upgrade module mount points. The bottom large yellow rectangle is additionally a conveyor port.
Construction
This module, like other modules, has a dimension of 1x1x2 (Height x Width x Depth ), and is only available for large grids. It requires the production block to be powered and the module needs to have one or two of its attachment points matched to mount points of the production block for it to work. If only one mount point is matched, the resulting effect is halved.
