Both KeenSWH and the Space Engineers community have created tools for modding. A small selection of these - and others - are listed below with the full list available on the Modding Tool main page.
Would you like to learn how to create your own mods? These guides will get you started from the beginning and will help you build up a solid foundation with which to tackle further learning.
Do you want to look up specific information or learn about moddable files and modding concepts? The modding reference is what you're looking for. Find more on the Modding Reference main page.
Plugins are not officially supported by KeenSWH and cannot be found on the Steam Workshop nor Mod.io. Plugins could potentially harm your system, damage, corrupt, or delete data outside the game or even install secondary software. However, they consequently also allow for more access than normal mods do, which is why a community has formed around creating and using them.
