The Inset Kitchen is a decorative block. You can build it only if you have purchased the Decorative Pack 3 DLC.
Usage
This piece of furniture makes the living quarters more comfortable. The front face shows a kitchen with a light, stove, oven, a glass fridge with drinks cans and ration packs, a first aid kit, drawers, a CO2 fire extinguisher, and an access panel. The right face shows a coffee machine, a "rehydrator", drawers, trash can, microwave oven, dish washer, and wash basin. The furniture elements do not take up their full block faces, so you can combine it with lower blocks such as desks or couches. The other four sides are practically undecorated.
It is also a light source that can be configured like an Interior Light.
Inventory
It has an inventory of 200 L and no conveyor access ports.
Construction
If Progression is on, you need to build an Interior Wall first to unlock it. The Inset Kitchen block is artight and can be built on large grid only. When placing the Inset Kitchen, consider that the inventory is accessible only directly, by pointing at either the front face or right face and pressing F key, so don't block it. The built-in light source needs a tiny amount of power.
