The Inset Bed is a decorative block. You can only build it if you have purchased the Decorative Pack 3 DLC. Players without the DLC cannot build the Inset Bed, but after a DLC owner has built it, all players can be allowed to use it.
Usage
The Inset Bed is functionally equivalent to a Passenger Seat, so see there for usage. Similar looking blocks are the Bed and Half Bed. Inside the Inset Bed block, you see a matrace, a small screen, and an Engineer Plushie on a shelf.
Inventory
There is cargo access to an inventory of 400 L on one outside wall and on one inside wall, but there are no conveyor ports. In contrast to the standard Bed Block (which is open on three sides and has a window on the fourth side), the Inset Bed has airtight walls on 5 sides.
Construction
If Progression is on, you need to build an Interior Wall first to unlock it. The Inset Bed can be built only on large grids.
