The 
Ramp is a decorative block in Space Engineers.
Usage
The block is almost identical to the 
Stairs block; the difference is that ramps look smooth and stairs visually have steps.
In addition to serving as a simple, gently sloped ramp on the ground, it is also used as angled plating on the ship exterior for aesthetic purposes.
Rotated steeply upright it can be used as a cheap 2-blocks-high makeshift ladder: You can place it using just 1 
Interior Plate and leave it unwelded; afterwards the construction is complete, it is grinded down equally quickly.
Trivia
The angle of a 2x1 sloped block is mathematically expected to be 26.56505 degrees, but Keen has confirmed the model's angle is actually 26.0954 degrees. Source: (Official Statement) Piston and Rotor Offsets
