Grated Catwalks are decorative floor blocks for large ships and stations. To be able to build them, you must own the Decorative Pack 2 DLC.
Usage
Grated Catwalks are used to bridge a gap or add intermediate floors in large rooms. They are similar to Steel Catwalks, but they are not airtight and have more variants.
Grated Catwalks go well with the narrower Half Grated Catwalks, Grated Stairs, and Walkable Scaffold Blocks.
Construction
Grated Catwalks have mount points on the sides and bottom and are available for large grid only. They need 1x1x1 blocks space to be placed, and despite appearances, you cannot place anything else in the same block space.
This block comes in seven variants:
- Grated Catwalk - no railings
- Grated Catwalk Straight - railings on two opposite sides
- Grated Catwalk Corner - railings on two neighbouring sides
- Grated Catwalk End - railings on three sides
- Grated Catwalk Half Left - railings on two opposite sides, plus half of a third
- Grated Catwalk Half Right - railings on two opposite sides, plus half of a third
- Grated Catwalk Wall - railing on one side only
