The Storage Shelves are a set of large-grid decorative blocks. Only players who have purchased the Wasteland Pack DLC can build them.
Usage
This block's build build states look like shelves filled with varying amounts of components, which makes your workspace look authentic and productive. Functionally, it is a cheap but limited storage container that displays the components that you put into it and looks different depending on how full it is.
- The advantage of the Storage Shelf 3 for storage is that it is very cheap (only 1
Girder) to be placed, much cheaper than any cargo container. - The disadvantages are that they only exist for large grid and that they have zero conveyor ports and zero Inventory ports.
- A minor downside is that each variant of the Storage Shelf 3 accepts only a limited selection of components.
Construction
The Storage Shelf 3 can be built on large grids only. It is 1x1x1 LG blocks large but leaves 5 sides open for players to pass by. You need girders in your inventory to be able to place it. The block can be coloured. It does not have an inventoy.
- To insert components, have them in your inventory, and weld the Storage Shelf 3 block up.
- To take components out, you have to grind the Storage Shelf 3 block down!
- Yes, you can grind down the stored
Power Cells without them turning into 
Scrap Metal! In contrast to functional blocks like Batteries, the Power Cells do not contribute charge to the Storage Shelf 3, so the component is returned intact when ground down.

Note: The recipes for the Storage Shelf 3 blocks are an exception how recipes and build states usually work in SE: The empty shelves need only 1 Girder to be placed and to look "functional". All other welded components are optional and just add to the visual fill level!
