Medical Components are component items used in the construction of Medical Rooms, Survival Kits, and Cryo Chambers.

You can build medical components in early mid-game after you have found silver. Before that, you can only get them by dismantling the Survival Kit in the drop pod.

Medical components are the bulkiest component by volumetric comparison. This makes them cumbersome and tedious to salvage or build with from the player inventory.
