Gravity Component
The Gravity Component is used primarily in constructing Gravity Generators, Jump Drives, Safe Zones, and Artificial Mass blocks. Gravity Component are the largest and heaviest items in the game. With realistic inventory options, you can hold only one of them in the personal inventory at the same time as a handheld Welder, making construction rather tedious. Unsurprisingly, these end-game components cannot be built in a Survival Kit.
Tip: Construct a temporary Welder Block on a conveyor port next to the Gravity Component-requiring block and fill the welder's inventory with Gravity Components straight from the Assembler.
Trivia
The non-functional Storage Shelf 3 also optionally requires Gravity components, but this is an exception, since it only stores the components. The Inset Aquarium needs 1 Gravity Component for the fish's life support system.
