A Small Railgun Sabot is the special type of ammunition for the small-grid Railgun. They are expensive to produce, due to requiring uranium instead of magnesium.

Trivia

Rail gun ammunition comes as a multipart sabot with a metal-jacketed depleted uranium core, which makes them quite expensive. The outer "carrier" shell of the sabot is shed during flight, prior to the core striking its target.

Damage

Sabots are capable of penetrating several layers of armor at high speed, but their impact is only one block wide with no explosion damage.
