VRAGE is the game engine developed by Keen Software House. VRAGE stands for “volumetric rage” and/or “voxel rage”.
It's main features are volumetric objects such as blocks on a grid. Volumetric objects behave like real physical objects with mass, inertia, and velocity. Blocks can be assembled, disassembled, deformed, and destroyed. Additionally, there is Voxel terrain. It relies on Havok Physics.
Space Engineers uses VRage 2.0, VRage 3.0 is in development.
