The Icon Block Small Inset Connector.png Small Inset Connector is a functional block in Space Engineers. Being an inset block, it is more encased than the standard Small Connector, but has the same recipe.

Usage

You use this connector to connect the small-grid conveyor systems of two ships or stations, or to eject small-sized items, such as stone and ores. This block is great to dock a small-grid drone to a large-grid station or ship.

Construction

This block exists for small grid, and since relase 206, also for large grid, in 1x1x1 blocks of the respective grid size. This inset variant has more mount points than the standard connector. The Small Inset Connector has one conveyor port on top and one on the back, so make sure to place it the right way round to connect with your conveyor system.
