Prototech blocks are end-game blocks that were introduced in release 1.205. The Prototech Assembler is similar to the Assembler but only for Prototech Components.
Usage
For generic usage details, see Assembler, but the difference is that the Prototech Assembler can assemble only Prototech Components.
The only component it cannot create is 
Prototech Frames.
Power
The Prototech Assembler has a minimum required power input of 1.00 kW (idling), and an operating power requirement of 4 MW (4000 kW).

Construction
The Prototech Assembler is for large grid only.
One way of obtaining the Prototech Assembler is looting the whole block during Global Encounters and merging it to your station or ship.
To place a Prototech block from your G menu, you need 1 Prototech Frame in your inventory;
additionally, you will need common components as well as also many rare Prototech components to finish building it.
Best save up these rare components to build the Prototech Assembler first, and then use it to craft the necessary components for other Prototech blocks.
