The
Inset Connector is a functional block in Space Engineers. It is more encased than the standard Connector but has the same recipe.
For a tiny variant, see Small Connector. For a cylindrical variant, see Connector.
Usage
You use connectors to temporarily connect the conveyor systems of two ships or stations, or to eject items into the world. For usage details see Connector.
Construction
This block exists for large and small grid. In large grid it is 1x1x1 blocks in size and for small grid 3x3x2 blocks, which is the same as the standard connector. The inset variant has more attachment points than the standard Connector.
The large grid block has one port on the back and one on the side. The small grid variant has four small conveyor ports on the sides, and one large port on the back.
Bug? The inset connector sometimes stays connected to another inset connector as if they were both conveyor ports.
